I'm not a particularly athletic person and my lifestyle is more along the lines of how society would define "sedentary." I absolutely abhorred the hike at Sam's Point and was dreading this hike through Bushkill Falls (also located in East Stroudsberg, PA about 12 minutes away from the KOA campgrounds). Of course my church group selected the longest, steepest, and most difficult hike but I was pleasantly surprised by how doable it was. Yes, my muscles ached a bit the next morning but it was a good kind of ache. I learned a few things during the hike: first, Toms are not suitable footwear for hiking, second, a little rain never hurt anybody, and third, everything is worth trying at least once twice.
