Kinder kids: Intro to India

This year my department launched a new missions immersion program of sorts. We had been teaching the children to pray for missionaries and the various countries where they serve. But in order to bring world missions closer to home and in their thoughts, my very creative, very talented staff made mini-passports to keep track of all the countries that we will learn about this year. The plan is that every month we present a country. Last month we learned about India! We showed photos that short-termers took last summer and brought Indian food for the children to try. It was way cool to see their reactions to tikka masala, saag, etc. Then we made kebabs with curry chicken, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
